Check the series name printed on the device. OXVA lists its XLIM cartridge against the XLIM devices and its UNITECH cartridge against the NeXLIM devices, so the series name is what decides which replacement to order. If the device says XLIM you want an XLIM cartridge; if it says NeXLIM you want a NeXLIM one.

They are two different cartridge platforms. OXVA publishes a separate compatibility list for each: the XLIM cartridge list covers the XLIM devices, and the UNITECH 3.0 list covers the NeXLIM devices. Neither list includes the other series, so treat them as separate ranges and match the cartridge to the series name on your device.

Every cartridge has its own recommended wattage range printed on the cartridge body, and that range is the one to follow rather than a single fixed number. Lower resistances such as 0.4 and 0.6 ohm are intended for higher output and a warmer, more direct draw; higher resistances such as 0.8 and 1.2 ohm are intended for lower output and a tighter mouth-to-lung draw. On a device with adjustable output, start at the bottom of the printed range and work up until the flavour is right.

Cartridges sold for the UK market hold 2ml. OXVA also produces larger-capacity versions of some cartridges for other markets, so if you have seen a bigger figure quoted online it will not be the UK version. Anything listed here is the UK 2ml specification.

OXVA lists the XLIM cartridge as compatible across the XLIM series, which is the practical advantage of staying inside one platform: if you upgrade from one XLIM device to another, you are usually still buying the same cartridge. Check the compatibility list on the individual product page before ordering, because a small number of models have their own notes.

A kit is the device itself and normally includes a cartridge to get started. Replacement cartridges are the consumable part you re-order once the original is spent. If you already own the device you only need the cartridges; if you are starting from scratch you need the kit, plus a separate bottle of e-liquid because these are refillable rather than prefilled.
