Overview

The OXVA NeXLIM is the original device on OXVA's newer refillable platform. It pairs a 1500mAh battery with a 5-40W output range, a 0.85-inch colour screen, side airflow control and instant auto-draw firing, and takes NeXLIM UNITECH cartridges with the dual-mesh coil built in.

BOOST and ECO change how power is delivered rather than just how much, so pairing either mode with the 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω or 1.2Ω cartridge gives six distinct ways to run the same device. The kit arrives with 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω fitted and spare, which covers most people without buying anything else.

OXVA lists nicotine salt and freebase e-liquid for NeXLIM cartridges. Balanced 50/50 blends are the safest general choice. Higher resistance and tighter airflow suit MTL use; 0.6Ω and a more open airflow suit lower-strength liquid and RDL-style use.

Prefilled pods vs. the full kit

Choose a NeXLIM kit when you need a rechargeable device and its first cartridge. Choose NeXLIM replacement pods when you already own NeXLIM 2, NeXLIM 2 Mini, the original NeXLIM or NeXLIM Go. The replacement pack contains cartridges only and no battery.

NeXLIM UNITECH 3.0 and 2.0 cartridges fit NeXLIM 2, NeXLIM 2 Mini, the original NeXLIM and NeXLIM GO. Use 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω or 1.2Ω according to the draw required. OXVA XLIM pods are a separate family and are not compatible.

NeXLIM UNITECH cartridges combine the reservoir and dual-mesh coil in one replaceable pod. BOOST and ECO alter the power behaviour, while the airflow control changes draw restriction. UNITECH 3.0 is the current cartridge generation; OXVA also confirms compatibility with UNITECH 2.0 across the current NeXLIM devices.

Setup & how to use

Open the top-fill port and add suitable e-liquid without filling the centre airflow.
Close the seal and leave a new cartridge upright for five minutes.
Insert the cartridge fully into the NeXLIM device.
Select ECO or BOOST and begin with moderate airflow.
Take a gentle first draw and adjust power or airflow gradually.

If something is not right

Troubleshooting

Burnt taste: stop, check the liquid and priming time, and reduce power if it is above the pod's suitable range.
Gurgling: dry the pod base and device recess, confirm the top seal is closed and use slower draws.
No atomiser or no output: remove the cartridge, clean the dry contacts and refit it. Try a fresh compatible pod if needed.
Weak flavour: check liquid level, airflow and mode; replace the pod if flavour remains flat.

Safety, storage & recycling

Keep the device and its built-in battery away from extreme heat, water and direct sunlight. Charge on a non-flammable surface using a USB-C lead and don't leave it charging unattended. Keep the device, pods and e-liquid out of reach of children and pets, and wash your hands after handling e-liquid.

At end of life, don't put the device in general waste — recycle it at a battery or small-electricals recycling point, or via a vape take-back scheme where available. Empty pods can be recycled with small electricals where accepted.

How does the original NeXLIM differ from the NeXLIM 2?

Both run 5-40W and both take the same NeXLIM UNITECH cartridges, so nothing you own is stranded either way. The NeXLIM 2 carries a larger 2000mAh battery against 1500mAh here, and charges at 5V/3A rather than 5V/2A.

The original is the lighter and shorter of the two. If battery life and charge speed matter more than size, the NeXLIM 2 is the step up; if not, the cartridges and the draw are the same.

Will my XLIM pods fit the NeXLIM?

No. Despite the similar name, XLIM and NeXLIM are separate cartridge platforms. The NeXLIM takes NeXLIM UNITECH cartridges only.

This is the single most common reordering mistake on this brand, so check the name printed on the device before you buy replacements.

Why is the cartridge 2ml when OXVA lists 4ml?

OXVA publishes the cartridge as 4ml with a 2ml TPD version. UK law caps a refillable tank or pod at 2ml, so the cartridges sold here are the 2ml version.

Everything else about the cartridge is unchanged: same coil, same resistances, same top-fill method.

Which resistance should I start with?

The kit ships with 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω, which covers most people. Use 0.8Ω for a balanced mouth-to-lung draw and 0.6Ω for something warmer and more open.

A 1.2Ω cartridge is also available separately if you want the tightest, most cigarette-like draw with higher-strength nicotine salt.

What do BOOST and ECO actually do?

They change how the device delivers power. BOOST ramps harder at the start of the draw for a warmer, fuller hit; ECO holds power back to stretch the battery and keep the vape cooler.

With three cartridge resistances, the two modes give you six distinct combinations to try without buying anything else.

What e-liquid suits the NeXLIM?

OXVA lists both nicotine salt and freebase as suitable. A balanced 50/50 blend is the safest starting point for any of the three resistances.

Avoid thick high-VG shortfills - they do not wick fast enough through a cartridge this size and will shorten its life.
