Overview

OXVA XLIM Go Lite Pod Kit

The XLIM Go Lite is the entry point to the XLIM range, and it is honest about what it is. A 1000mAh battery, up to 30W that the device sets for itself, a side airflow slider and a 41.5g body - the lightest in the series. No screen, no fire button, no menu. You fill a cartridge, draw on it, and that is the whole interaction.

What makes it worth considering over a cheap disposable is the cartridge platform behind it. It takes the same XLIM cartridges as the rest of the range, in 0.4 through 1.2 ohm, so you refill rather than replace and the running cost drops once the kit is paid for.

It also runs the 0.4 ohm cartridge, which the original XLIM does not - this one reaches the 26-30W that resistance needs. If you want to set the wattage yourself, or you want a button and a screen, that points to the XLIM Go 2 or a Pro model instead. The rest of the series sits in OXVA XLIM pod kits, and both OXVA platforms are covered in the wider OXVA range.

Compare the OXVA XLIM range

Every device in this range runs the same XLIM cartridge platform, so cartridges carry across and moving up later does not strand the ones you already own. What changes is how much control you get and how much battery sits behind it. The Go Lite is the stripped-back entry point with no button and no screen, the standard XLIM adds a display, and the Pro lets you set the wattage yourself and charges at twice the rate.

Shared by all: 2ml (TPD) refillable XLIM cartridges with the coil built in, side airflow control, USB-C charging and a mouth-to-lung to restricted direct-lung draw. Only devices reaching 26-30W can run the 0.4 ohm cartridge, which is the one practical split across this group.

Add your own e-liquid

E-liquid: what to use & where to buy

Nothing arrives pre-filled, so e-liquid is bought separately and the right one depends on the cartridge fitted.

The 0.8 and 1.2 ohm cartridges are mouth-to-lung resistances and suit nicotine salts or balanced 50/50 e-liquids. The 0.6 and 0.4 ohm are more open and warmer, and take freebase or salt at lower strengths.

Thick high-VG shortfills are the one thing to avoid in a coil this small.

Verified resistance-specific guidance, where available, is shown with each pod in the compatibility section above. Ready to stock up?

Is this right for you?

Prefilled pods vs. the full kit

This is the kit - the device itself with one cartridge fitted. If you already own an XLIM and the flavour has faded, you want cartridges rather than another device.

E-liquid is separate either way. Nothing arrives pre-filled.

The Go Lite takes XLIM cartridges in 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 ohm. Worth noting against the original XLIM: this one does run the 0.4 ohm, because it reaches the 26-30W that cartridge is specified for, where the original stopped at 25W.

NeXLIM cartridges do not fit. NeXLIM is a separate platform with its own cartridge format, despite the similar name. XLIM C is a separate platform too.

Before you order

What is in the kit?

The XLIM Go Lite device, one XLIM Top Fill cartridge in 0.8 ohm, a use-suggestion card and the user manual.

There is no USB-C charging cable in this kit. OXVA does not include one, and we would rather say so plainly than have you discover it after opening the box. Any standard USB-C cable will charge it.

E-liquid is not included either - this is a refillable kit, so nothing arrives pre-filled.

The basics

How it works

A 1000mAh battery driving up to 30W, with the device choosing the power for the cartridge you fit. You draw on it to fire it - there is no button - and a three-colour light stands in for a screen.

Airflow is set with a slider on the side, so the draw stays where you put it rather than shifting when you reseat the cartridge. The cartridge carries the coil, so the resistance you choose is what decides the experience.

Charging is over USB-C at 5V/1A, and the cable is not supplied.

Get started

Setup & how to use

Take the cartridge out, open the fill port and fill slowly, leaving a small air gap rather than filling to the brim. Close it firmly and seat the cartridge back in.

Leave a freshly filled cartridge standing a few minutes and take two or three pulls without drawing hard. Skipping this is the most common reason a new cartridge tastes burnt on the first day, and it cannot be undone once the cotton has scorched.

Set the side airflow to suit, and that is all there is - the device handles the power.

If something is not right

Troubleshooting

A burnt taste on a new cartridge almost always means it was fired before the cotton had soaked through. Prime it properly on the first fill of every cartridge, not just the first fill of the kit.

No fire or weak output is usually the contacts. Remove the cartridge, wipe the contacts on both the cartridge and inside the device with a dry tissue, and reseat it firmly. Because this device is draw-activated, also check the airflow slider is not fully closed.

Gurgling or liquid in the mouthpiece points to overfilling or a fill port not fully shut. Very thick high-VG e-liquid floods these coils for the same reason.

If it will not charge, try a different USB-C cable first - none is supplied with the kit, so the cable is an untested variable by definition.

Safety, storage & recycling

Keep the device and its built-in battery away from extreme heat, water and direct sunlight. Charge on a non-flammable surface using a USB-C lead and don't leave it charging unattended. Keep the device, pods and e-liquid out of reach of children and pets, and wash your hands after handling e-liquid.

At end of life, don't put the device in general waste — recycle it at a battery or small-electricals recycling point, or via a vape take-back scheme where available. Empty pods can be recycled with small electricals where accepted.

Helpful answers

Frequently asked questions

Which cartridges fit the XLIM Go Lite?

XLIM cartridges in 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 ohm. Unlike the original XLIM, this one does run the 0.4 ohm - it reaches 30W, which is what that cartridge needs.

NeXLIM cartridges are a separate platform and do not fit, and neither do XLIM C cartridges.

Can I set the wattage myself?

No, and that is the point of it. The device reads the cartridge you fit and sets the power itself within its 5-30W range. There is no screen and no menu to learn.

OXVA's published bands for the cartridges are 0.4 ohm at 26-30W, 0.6 ohm at 20-25W, 0.8 ohm at 12-16W and 1.2 ohm at 10-12W. If you want to set those numbers yourself rather than have them chosen for you, that is a reason to look at a Pro model instead.

Is there a fire button?

No. It fires when you draw on it and there is no button at all. If you prefer pressing a button, the XLIM Go 2 and the Pro models offer both.

Battery level shows through a three-colour light rather than a screen - green, then blue, then red as it runs down.

Does it come with a charging cable?

No. OXVA does not include a USB-C cable in this kit, and we would rather say so here than let you find out when the box arrives. Any standard USB-C cable will charge it.

It is one of the ways the price is kept where it is.

What e-liquid suits it?

Nicotine salts or balanced 50/50 e-liquid, bought separately - nothing arrives pre-filled. The 0.8 ohm cartridge supplied with the kit is a mouth-to-lung resistance and pairs with salts.

Avoid thick high-VG shortfills. A mesh coil this small cannot wick liquid that heavy quickly enough and you get a dry hit rather than a bigger cloud.

How is it different from the XLIM Go 2?

The Go Lite is the stripped-back one: smaller battery, no button, no cable in the box, and the lowest price in the XLIM range. It is built to be the cheapest way onto the XLIM cartridge platform rather than the most capable device on it.

Both take the same XLIM cartridges, so moving up later does not strand the cartridges you have already bought.

Editorial standards

How we verified this product

The specifications here - the 1000mAh battery, 5-30W range, 5V/1A USB-C charging, the 113.65 x 25.73 x 15.58mm body at 41.5g, the three-colour battery light and the draw-only firing - are taken from OXVA's published XLIM Go Lite specification, read on 31 July 2026 and cross-checked against two UK retailers.

Two things we have stated rather than glossed over. The kit does not include a charging cable - OXVA's own package list omits it and two independent retailers confirm the omission, so it is a real difference rather than a printing error. And there is no fire button at all, which is worth knowing before you buy if you are used to one.

One figure is deliberately absent: charge time. OXVA's own preview blog says 40 minutes while a UK retailer says 60 to 90, and we would rather publish nothing than pick whichever number reads better.

There is no coil-life or refill-count figure either, because OXVA publishes none for these cartridges. Capacity is the UK 2ml specification throughout.
