US Reverses Juul Vaping Product Ban Amidst Ongoing Review
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has reversed its 2022 ban on Juul's e-cigarette products, allowing them to remain on shelves while a full review is conducted. The initial ban aimed to curb the rise in teenage vaping, driven by Juul's products that contain high nicotine levels and were marketed with youthful imagery. Despite this reversal, the FDA emphasized that it does not yet authorize Juul’s products for sale. The company plans to seek full marketing authorization.
