On most Hayati devices you do not refill the pod — you replace a sealed assembly. That single point resolves the majority of the trouble people have with these kits. The part labelled a "refill container" is not something you open and top up; it is part of the sealed set that comes out and goes in the bin together. Only one Hayati family in the current range is genuinely refillable, and it is not the one most people own.
Which pod fits which Hayati
Hayati pods are not interchangeable between systems. A Pro Max Plus pod will not serve a Pro Ultra Plus, and the S1 uses a different format again. Match the pod to the exact model printed on your device.

Changing the pod, model by model
Pro Max Plus 6000
The pod and the refill container arrive as two separate pieces and must be joined before either goes near the device.
- Pull the spent assembly out of the top of the device and set it aside for disposal.
- Take the new 2ml pod and the new 10ml refill container out of the packaging. Nothing needs cutting, puncturing or unsealing.
- Line up the arrows on the two components. This is the step people miss — the parts only mate one way round.
- Press them together firmly until they click and sit flush.
- Insert the assembled set into the top of the device.
- Draw on the mouthpiece. There are no buttons and nothing to set.
Pro Ultra Plus 25000
This is the model that generates the most confusion, because what people think of as "the pod" is actually three pieces: the pod itself and two separate 10ml tanks that feed it.
- Lift the whole spent assembly clear of the device.
- Attach each new tank to its corresponding side of the new pod, as shown in the instructions supplied with the set. Do not force them.
- Fit the assembled pod into the device so it seats securely.
- Give it a few minutes before the first draw so the wick saturates.
- To switch between the two tanks, twist the mouthpiece.

Rubik 7000
- Remove the spent pod and container together.
- Fit the new 2ml pod into the new 10ml refill container.
- Slot the assembly into the device.
- Remove any protective seal from the mouthpiece and let it prime for 60 to 90 seconds before drawing.
That priming pause matters more on the Rubik than on the others. Drawing on a dry mesh coil is the fastest way to ruin a new pod.
Pro Max S1
The S1 is the odd one out: a single sealed pod on a magnetic connection, no container to assemble.
- Pull the old pod straight off. The magnets release with a firm, even pull — do not twist.
- Take every protective seal off the new pod.
- Align it with the top of the device and let the magnets seat it.
- Check it sits flat. If it does not, something is between the contacts — see below.
Hayati also specify a separate 0.8Ω refillable pod for the S1, which is a different product from the sealed prefilled pods. Both live in the Pro Max series.
So what does "refilling" a Hayati actually mean?
It depends entirely on which device you own, and this is where the searches and the reality part company.
On the prefilled systems — Pro Max Plus, Pro Ultra Plus, Rubik, S1 — you never add e-liquid. The mesh coil is sealed inside the pod assembly, and the 10ml container is a factory-filled reservoir that feeds it, not an open tank. "Refilling" one of these means fitting a fresh sealed set. Do not cut, puncture or prise open a sealed component to top it up: you will flood the coil, you may reach the contacts, and the part is not designed to close again.
On the Quokka — Pro, Lite and Elite — you genuinely do refill, with bottled e-liquid of your choosing:
- Lift the pod out of the device.
- Open the silicone side stopper.
- Fill with up to 2ml. Do not go past the line.
- Reseat the stopper firmly and stand the pod for five to ten minutes so the coil primes.
- Push the pod back in until it clicks.
- Click the fire button five times to power on, set the wattage, then hold to vape.
Balanced 50/50 nicotine salts suit these mesh pods best. Thick high-VG shortfills do not wick well through a mouth-to-lung pod and will cause dry hits — which e-liquid suits which coil covers the pairing properly.
If the pod will not come out
Almost always one of four things:
- You are twisting it. None of these pods unscrew. Pull straight up, evenly, with the device held firmly in the other hand.
- Dried e-liquid has glued it. A pod left in a warm car or a pocket for weeks can stick. Work it side to side by a millimetre to break the seal, then lift.
- You are gripping the wrong part. On the Pro Ultra Plus and Pro Max Plus, pulling on one tank rather than the body separates the assembly instead of releasing it. Grip the pod body.
- It is already unseated. If it feels loose but will not lift, push it down first, then pull.
If a component is visibly cracked or leaking, stop using it and fit a fresh set rather than persevering.
If it will not work after the change
No vapour at all. Charge the device before assuming the pod is faulty. On the Pro Max Plus in particular, Vape Offers' own testing found that a very low battery noticeably weakened flavour, vapour and draw strength while liquid still remained — it reads exactly like a dead pod. Then reseat the assembly.
Intermittent or cutting out. Remove the pod and wipe both sets of contacts with a dry cotton bud. E-liquid residue across a contact is the single most common cause, and it is the same fault that produces a check atomizer message on devices that have a screen.
Burnt on the first draw. The wick was dry. Give a new pod the priming time above. Once a coil is scorched it does not recover — why a vape tastes burnt explains why and what prevents it.

Making pods last
Most pods die early for avoidable reasons. Let a new one sit before the first draw. Avoid long chain puffs, which outrun the wick. Keep the device upright when it is not in use. Keep it out of direct heat. And keep it charged — running a device repeatedly into its lowest battery range is hard on the coil and unpleasant to vape.

Can I put a Pro Max Plus pod in a Pro Ultra Plus?
No. Hayati systems use different pod formats and are not interchangeable, even within the same brand. Match the pod to the exact model name on your device.
Can I refill a Hayati Pro Ultra pod with bottled e-liquid?

Why is my new pod leaking?
